One Dead, One Wounded Outside DuSable High

One person is dead and another wounded outside a South Side high school Friday afternoon, according to the fire department. 

The shooting happened outside the school at 4934 S. Wabash Ave., according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor,who the injured person was transported to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in serious to critical condition.

MacGregor said they responded at 12:21 p.m. and he did not know if the victims were students.  A Chicago Public Schools spokewoman told the Chicago Tribune that at least one of the two shooting victims was an adult.
