Officers Hurt When Squad Cars Collide

Three police officers were injured when two squad cars collided Tuesday night in the Far South Side’s Roseland community.

The squad cars were responding to an unidentified call when they collided about 11 p.m. near 115th and South State streets, police said.

Two officers were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers and one officer was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, police said.

Police said all the officers are expected to be treated and released.
