Metra officials are investigating the death of a 31-year-old New Lenox man who was struck and killed by a Metra train in Oak Forest. as he sat near the tracks in Oak Forest.
The accident happened just before midnight Saturday. The man was sitting near the trakcs when he was hit by the Rock Island 231 train, according to a Metra spokeman.
