Fire Guts West Side Building

Chicago firefighters were forced to take defensive positions and battle a fully involved blaze from outside a three-story West Side building overnight.

At one point, the blaze engulfed all three floors of the building, at 4321 W. 16th St.,  and firefighters fell back to defensive positions because of a danger of a flashover, but no injuries were reported, according to Fire Media Affairs. [Read More...]
