Two police officers responding to a robbery call were injured when their vehicles collided Tuesday morning on the Northwest Side.
The two squad cars collided at 5901 E. Cornelia Ave. about 12:45 a.m. as they responded to a robbery, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
One of the squad cars also struck a front porch after the crash, according to Greer.
Two officers were taken to Resurrection Medical Center with minor injuries and were treated and released, Greer said.
