76-Year-Old Bicyclist Struck, Killed

A 76-year-old man died Sunday after being struck by a car as he rode a bicycle on the South Side.

Charles Croft, of 2882 S. Quinn St., was on a bike when he was hit by a vehicle at 3000 S. Emerald Ave., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

He was pronounced dead on the scene at 8:07 p.m.

Chicago Police did not immediately have information regarding the incident.
