2 Charged After Officers Shot

Two men were charged after two narcotics officers who were executing a search warrant were shot on Thursday.
Kenneth Green, 21, is charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and possession of a controlled substance. Keith D. Green, 24, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and a parole violation.
Kenneth Green opened fire through a door and shot the two officers while they were searching a South Side apartment, according to police.
Both are scheduled to appear in bond court Friday.
