DuPage County police are looking for a 17-year-old Naperville-area girl who may have run away from home, leaving her belongings -- even her cell phone and her coat, WBBM-AM reports.
Katheryne Porter, who lives with her family near Bauer Road and Mill Street, left home about 1 a.m. Wednesday, the radio station reports. Her mother tells WBBM she has bipolar disorder and may have gone to meet a man her family does not know.
The girl is 5-foot-5, weighs 110 pounds and has light brown hair, light blue eyes and two scars under her chin. Before she left home, she was wearing khaki Capri or cargo-style pants, a black top and a gray sweatshirt with a hood, according to the station.
Katheryne had not been located as of about 11:15 a.m. today, DuPage County Sheriff's police said. Anyone with information should call police at 630-407-2400.
