Groupon's Art Collaboration Series
Moshpix: Groupon continued it's arts collaboration series Tuesday night with an event at the Chicago Artists' Coalition featuring musicians Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross, plus artwork by Jason Brammer. Throw in an improvised dance trio and you have an evening that's much different than the typical poppin' bottles and dancing on couches. The event was the third installment of the series that Groupon is offering with former Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. The first two were the Wrigley Field showing of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and an Umphrey's McGee concert. Groupon officials plan more events soon, and hope to expand the concept to other cities.
