What does a CFO do?
You might know what the letters mean, but, really, what does being a chief financial officer entail? Can you tell whether yours is doing a good job — or if it is your job, whether you’re doing everything you possibly can?
If you’re in doubt about any of this, it might be a good idea to check out the Chicagoland Chamber’s free May 6 CFO executive summit. It runs from 7:30 a.m. ’til 5 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency on 151 E. Wacker Dr., and CFOs from Archer Daniels Midland Company, McDonald's Corporation and State Farm Insurance will be on hand to “offer best practices for creating and communicating a clear and compelling value proposition in an uncertain economic environment.”
