BuzzFeed's Founder/CEO Jonah Peretti on the Media's Evolution

This week, social news organization BuzzFeed's CEO and founder Jonah Peretti came to town as part of Chicago Ideas Week to participate in a talk at the Goodman Theater.

The subject was "Future of News: What's the Story?" and he was there discussing that with Jumo's Chris Hughes, Pulse's Akshay Kotahri and Syria Deeply's Lara Setrakian.

Before that talk, though, I sat down with Peretti backstage at the Goodman to discuss what he feels are the greatest challenges facing his company and other burgeoning media outlets getting their starts nowadays.

Enjoy.
