Our Barack!

How do I feel about today, and what does it mean to me?  Well, I've always felt as if he's "ours" ... our Senator, our own son of Illinois

My son, who voted for the last time in November, traveled to Grant Park to hear him give his acceptance speech.  It was meaningful beyond measure and I couldn't be more proud of Barack  than if he was my own son.  I'm sure there will be tears today, but not because he's our first black president.  It's because he's the best of the best.  Something special and in the days and months to come "our" Barack steps onto the word stage ... we couldn't be more excited!
