New ‘Star Wars' Trailer to Debut During Bears Game

Chicago Bears fans will get their first taste of what Mitchell Trubisky can do when he makes his regular season debut on Monday night, but there will be at least one more reason to tune into the game.

According to the movie’s official Twitter account, the new trailer for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will be released during the Bears’ game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football:

The film, the eighth in the iconic series, will star Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, as he trains Rey (portrayed by Daisy Ridley) in the ways of the Force.

Meanwhile Trubisky, the second overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, will start his first career game for the Bears after taking over for Mike Glennon. Glennon struggled mightily in the first four games of the season, turning the ball over eight times as the Bears stumbled out of the gates to a 1-3 record on the young season.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and the game can be seen nationally on ESPN or locally on WGN.
