The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will do battle in a Thursday Night Football game later this season, and on Tuesday the league revealed the special-edition uniforms that both teams will wear.
The uniforms are part of the NFL’s “Color Rush” initiative, and for Bears fans were fearful that the team would end up stuck in an all-orange combination, the decision go with an all-navy blue look will come as a welcome surprise:

The uniform, modelled by offensive lineman Kyle Long, features the Bears’ signature navy blue jersey coupled with the navy blue uniform pants that the team wears during road games. The socks are also a sharp look for the Bears, with three orange stripes that are evocative of the team’s traditional sleeve look on their jerseys.
As for the Packers, the team will avoid going with an all-green or yellow look and will instead go with an all-white look for the game, which will take place at Lambeau Field in October. The team’s traditional yellow pants are not featured in the uniform, instead being replaced with white pants with yellow and green stripes down the sides.
The game will take place on Oct. 20, and will kick-off at 7:25 p.m.
