UPDATE: CSN Chicago has since clarified the report was in reference to Brandon Marshall's Showtime appearances on "Inside the NFL," and traveling player appearances. There was no immediate word on an official team policy.
The Chicago Bears saw their players do all sorts of regular media appearances last season, but that may not happen as much this year, according to a report from John Mullin of CSN Chicago.
"Sources told CSNChicago.com that outside radio/TV gigs were not going to happen during the first year of the Pace/John Fox regime," Mullin wrote in a recent report.
Marshall’s routine of going to New York for his Showtime appearances had reportedly rubbed a lot of people at Halas Hall the wrong way, and the move could be in reaction to that.
