Pete Carroll Concedes Defeat

Seattle coach Pete Caroll says he'll kick to Devin Hester. Goodbye, Seahawks.

Are you kidding me? That's like Lex Luthor saying he plans on defeating Superman without using kryptonite. Devin Hester is a beast. Remember what happened on the first play of the game in Super Bowl XLI?  Tony Dungy thought he'd be all hard by kicking off to Hester.  Seven points later, the Colts had a hole to dig out of.

Getting a job as an NFL head coach should involve a simple questionnaire.

1) Do you plan on kicking to Devin Hester?
2) Seriously?

Pete Carroll fails that test.

What's more, Carroll essentially concedes that this strategy will lead to his destruction. "What a treasure (Hester) is for the Chicago fans, to be able every time someone kicks him the ball, you think he's going to score a touchdown."

Yeah. He will score. So why are you kicking to him?

No one in NFL history has more kick returns for touchdowns. No one. Ever. Something tells me he'll add at least one more on Sunday.

This game can't get here fast enough. Seattle is about to pull the pin on one wicked grenade.
