NFL Simulation Predicts Bears to Finish Dead Last in League

After a rough 2014 season, the Chicago Bears are hoping that an infusion of new talent and a new coaching staff will move them up the food chain in 2015, but according to a new simulation of the NFL season, things aren’t looking good for the Bears.

In fact, things are going to get downright ugly.

According to a simulation of all 256 games, performed by USA Today, the Bears will finish with a record of 3-13 this season, missing the playoffs by a wide margin and winding up with the worst record in the NFL.

The news doesn’t get any better for Chicago as their rivals from the north are rated highly by the projections. The Green Bay Packers are projected to finish with a 12-4 record this season, and to make matters worse, they are also predicted to win the Super Bowl over the Indianapolis Colts next February in Santa Clara.

To be frank, it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world for the Bears to finish dead last in the NFL, as it would land them the number one overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and with an exciting crop of young quarterbacks coming into the league next season, G.M. Ryan Pace could really kickstart the process of restructuring the roster in the image that he and Fox want to see.
