New Bear D.J. Williams Injured at Practice

Another Bear has been carted off the field with an injury. Linebacker D.J. Williams was taken from training camp during Wednesday's practice with an undisclosed injury.

Days after the Bears cut ties with Brian Urlacher, they signed Williams. During his last season with the Broncos, he didn't play the entire season because of suspensions. Now, an injury could hold back the fresh start he was attempting to make in Chicago.

Rookie Jon Bostic played middle linebacker with the first team in Williams' place. This is a golden opportunity for Bostic to show off what he can do. He is seen as the future of the Bears' linebackers and has shown dedication to learning all he can from his more seasoned teammates.

Williams is the latest Bear to go down with an injury. Pro Bowl lineman Jermon Bushrod strained his calf on Monday, and Turk McBride suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon. Brandon Marshall missed practice Monday with a sore hip but was back on the field on Wednesday.
