Devin Aromashodu, Where Are You?

After 5 catches for 71 yards in the Bears opener against the Lions, WR Devin Aromashodu did not see any action on offense against the Cowboys Week 2.

Was Mike Martz sending a message after a few drops including a potential touchdown after week 1?

"That could've been the case" the player known as "D.A." said Thursday. "I don't know." When asked how he took the no playing time D.A. was even more vague, "I don't know, I don't know how I took it honestly."

Aromashodu was limited in the Wednesday practice before facing the Cowboys, but put in a full workout Thursday.

Still Jay Cutler said Aromashodu's disappearing act was because he was "banged up".

Offensive Coordinator Mike Martz said he would address the issue only once explaining Aromashodu is limited as a wideout not being versatile enough to also play the slot. "Devin is still one of our wide receivers."

Jay Cutler said, "We're going to count on him sometime down the line."
