Bears General Manager Jerry Angelo told NBC's Andrea Kremer Jay Cutler is out as a safety measure.
The franchise quarterback showed signs of the head injury at half time after being sacked nine times in the first half against the New York Giants.
Angelo told Kremer that Cutler would travel home with the team, indicating a hospital visit wasn't imminent.
