Brian Urlacher Talking to Minnesota: Report

As expected, Brian Urlacher has begun to talk to other teams as a free agent. According to the Chicago Tribune, Urlacher is talking to the Bears' NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings.

Urlacher's camp reportedly made a contract offer to the Bears last week, but the team hasn't responded. However, the Bears are keeping their eye on Urlacher's contract talks with other teams. The Cowboys and Cardinals are also said to have interest in Urlacher.

However, even the Vikings official think Urlacher will stay in Chicago. If he was to depart, it wouldn't be surprising to see him stick so close to home. He knows the division and has played plenty in Minnesota.

The Vikings know quite well what he can do from firsthand experience. In 21 games against Minnesota, Urlacher has 159 tackles, eight sacks and three interceptions.
