The Chicago Bears are adding more and more names to their list of potential head coaching candidates, and a new one that just hit the market is apparently on the team’s radar.

According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, former Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone will interview with the Bears at some point in the next few days. Marrone, who opted out of his contract with the Bills on Wednesday, is also being pursued by the New York Jets and the Atlanta Falcons, according to Costello’s report.

Marrone coached the last two seasons in Buffalo after leaving Syracuse in 2013. He had signed a four-year deal with the organization, but was allowed to exercise an opt out clause because of a change of ownership that saw Terry Pegula take control of the team in October. Potential changes in the front office reportedly led to his decision to leave Buffalo, according to reports by ESPN’s John Clayton.

The Bills went 15-17 during Marrone’s tenure in Buffalo, but 2014 saw a resurgence for the team as they had their first winning season since 2004.
