If you build your life around the Bears schedule -- and who doesn't? -- we have a few dates for you to pencil in your calendar. The Bears released their off-season training schedule, and training begins in April.

April 2                                    Chicago Bears offseason workouts begin (non-field activities)
April 16-18                            Veteran Voluntary Minicamp
April 25-27                            NFL Draft
May 10-12                             Rookie Minicamp
May 13                                   OTA Practices begin
May 18                                   Bears Care Gala
June 6                                    OTA Practices end
June 11-13                            Veteran Mandatory Minicamp

By April 16, most of the veterans who on the squad will be signed. Though wheeling and dealing happens all summer long, we'll have a good idea who is going to be in a Bears uniform by then. It also will be the first time the Bears have a meaningful interaction with their new coaching staff, led by Marc Trestman.

But Grizzly Detail has one question. Did Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari know the Bears' schedule when they set their wedding date? Could there be a conflict?

Let's all hope Jay isn't running from OTAs to pick up his tux and drop off the welcome bags for the out-of-town guests at the hotel. Let's hope off-season training and wedding events were well-coordinated. Nobody wants a frazzled groom/quarterback.
