Bears' Home Finale Tickets Available for Cheap Prices Saturday

Looking to get out of last-minute Christmas shopping or away from your in-laws? Then Saturday's Chicago Bears home finale could be your answer, as tickets are available on the secondary market for very reasonable prices

If you’re looking for an excuse to get out of spending Christmas Eve with annoying family members, or if you’re just looking for something to get you away from the toils of wrapping presents before the big day, then you may want to consider going to the Chicago Bears’ game against Washington.

Granted, this decision would mean that you’d be willingly spending money to see a 3-11 team playing out the string on a lost season, but there are plenty of reasons to consider the investment. The biggest reason is the value of the tickets involved, as tickets on StubHub and TicketIQ can be had for as little as $20 apiece for the Bears’ final home game of the season.

If that’s not incentive enough, then the weather forecast should help sway you a bit. Many fans stayed away from Soldier Field over the weekend as temperatures for the team’s game against the Green Bay Packers plunged below 10 degrees, but with Saturday’s forecasted high set at 35 degrees, you may want to pack sunscreen and bask in the balmy glory of a late December day on the lakefront.

Finally, there’s Washington’s status as a playoff team, which should add a bit of extra zip to the Bears’ home finale. The Bears will be attempting to go .500 on their homefield this season, as a win over Washington would put them at 4-4 at Soldier Field on the year. Doing that against a team with playoff aspirations would have a bit of extra sweetness, although the notion of the Bears potentially helping the Packers get into the postseason may take some of the zip out of it.

If cheap tickets, a slight heat wave, and a playoff-contending opponent aren’t enough to get you out to Soldier Field, just remember one final thing: it’ll be over eight months until a meaningful football game is played at the stadium again, and it’s still a long way off to the team reporting to Bourbonnais next summer.
