Bears Ask Fans to Arrive Early For Sunday's Game at Soldier Field

With the Chicago Bears preparing to take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday, the team is asking fans to arrive at the stadium a little bit earlier than usual for the noon kick-off.

In a statement released by the team Friday, the Bears let fans know that there will be additional security measures in place in and around Soldier Field, and the gates will open to the public at 10 a.m. at the venerable stadium.

Here is more information on the policies the Bears will be enforcing:

“The NFL’s Bag and Purse Policy remains in place and will be strictly enforced. Backpacks, purses (exceeding the 4.5” x 6.5” limits), and bags will not be allowed into Soldier Field. Each guest may carry in their pockets items such as keys, makeup, combs, phones, wallets, and credit cards. Guests may also continue to carry a blanket or jacket into the stadium.”

Fans will continue to be allowed to bring in NFL approved clear plastic or vinyl bags, in accordance with policies that went into effect in previous seasons.
