Get out your August calendar. The Bears' pre-season schedule is out, and it's time to enter the dates so you can play your weekends and vacations around your football team.
The Bears will start their pre-season in Charlotte the weekend of Aug. 8-11. Then they will open at home on Aug. 15 against the San Diego Chargers in a nationally televised game.
The next weekend, they will head to Oakland for a game with the Raiders during the weekend of Aug. 22-25.
The pre-season ends on Aug. 29 in Chicago against the Browns, a team who the Bears seem to play every pre-season.
The exact dates and times of the away games will be announced later. Also, the Bears' full regular season scheduled will be announced in mid-April, so you will be able to plan your fall this soon.
And you can say that you won't watch because it's "just the pre-season." Be honest with yourself. After the Bears' 2012 ended in such disappointment, and the Bears have undergone major changes. A very different team will take the field
