Aaron Rodgers' Family Troubles Spotlighted on ‘The Bachelorette'

"I miss my brother a lot, especially in moments like this because my family means so much," Jordan Rodgers said in the episode

After Jordan Rodgers first talked about his troubled relationship with his brother Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers on “The Bachelorette" last week, it appears things could be even worse than many thought.

During his hometown date with Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher Monday, Jordan Rodgers' family revealed that it's not just Jordan Aaron Rodgers hasn't spoken to -- it's also his brother Luke.

"It's something we don't really talk about a whole lot," Luke told Fletcher. "It pains both of us like not to have that relationship. We miss our brother."

It was an issue that lingered heavily over the episode, with two empty chairs sitting at the dinner table, presumably for Aaron and his girlfriend Olivia Munn.

"I miss my brother a lot, especially in moments like this because my family means so much," Jordan said in the episode.

Jordan Rodgers, considered a front-runner on the dating show, opened up about his family last week, revealing that he doesn’t talk to his brother Aaron Rodgers anymore.

In fact, Jordan’s superstar brother may not even know he’s on the show.

“It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life,” Jordan said. “I chose to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother.”

Luke noted Monday that "things were even harder for [Jordan]" as he followed in his brother's footsteps.

"It's a wish that everything would get back to us being a family," Luke said.

It remains unclear what exactly caused the family rift.

"I have no idea nor could I even imagine why Aaron wouldn’t want to be a part of their lives," Fletcher said.

Aaron Rodgers has not yet addressed the comments made on the show.
