Matt Forte says he's just taking his recovery slowly.
The newly-injured Chicago Bears running back appeared Tuesday evening at the new Water Tower Place PINK store alongside Victoria's Secret supermodel Elsa Hosk.
The two stars schmoozed with their fans and modeled pieces from the PINK NFL collection.
But Forte also talked about that knee.
"I'm just trying to take it slow. With injuries you've got to take it that way. You can't really, you know, go back or try to rush yourself back out there because you'll get hurt again," he said.
The bleach-blonde Hosk, a Swedish-born beauty, recently walked the runway in the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Forte sprained his MCL Sunday in the Bears loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and is the cause of much hand-wringing as to whether he'll be available for the rest of the season.
