Word on the Street: Election Edition

Not surprisingly, many of the events going on this week have an election theme to it. There's no escaping it, so you might as well get on board. Why not show your party support by partaking in a food or drink special dedicated to your favorite candidate? Click here for a list of some of the restaurants offering political treats, like the Undecided-tini at Morton's.

It seems like the hottest ticket in town is for Obama's rally in Grant Park on Tuesday night, but there's plenty of other places to enjoy the election festivities. Need even more options? Check out this list on Metromix.

When the Republican candidate for president is on SNL just days before the election, you know we're living in a unique time when it comes to how and where we process our political information. So if like your politics with a dose of satire, the crew over at Second City are at again. Check out Campaign Supernova at the legendary theater in Old Town.

By Friday, all the votes "should" be counted and we "should" know who the next president will be. And by then you may be burned out on the election, so it'll be time to switch it up. Why not check out First Fridays at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Enjoy hor d'oeuvres and drink specials while mingling with other professionals.
