Man cannot live on wine alone, so sample your vino with seasonal light bites tonight at one sixtyblue.

LUNCH HOUR ESCAPE: It might be your first day back at work after a long holiday break. Make it a bit less of a chore with some uplifting music at lunchtime. The Chicago Cultural Center hosts chamber musicians Larry Combs on clarinet and Larry Novak on piano for a midday classical concert. 12:15PM, free.

TIME OF YOUR LIFE: Join dancers from the Joffrey Ballet and performers from "Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage" for an event benefitting the Joffrey Ballet Scholarship Fund tonight. You'll see two music and dance performances, get to mingle with the dancers at a cocktail reception and take part in a silent auction. At the Joffrey Tower, 6-8PM, $40-50.

TAKE FLIGHT: One sixtyblue's popular "Monday Night Flights" series takes place tonight. (FYI: It's the first Monday of every month.) You'll get to sample six wines along with a seasonal six-bite tasting menu in 45- to 60-minute sessions that offer insight into the inspired pairings. 6-8PM, $35.
