You may have enjoyed the unseasonably warm weather over the past week, but the flip side is that it's going to delay a Chicago winter tradition.
The McCormick Tribune Ice Rink is now tentatively scheduled to open on Nov. 19, instead of Nov. 12 as originally planned.
The rink, located in Millenium Park on Michigan Avenue between Washington and Madison streets, is free to the public, although skate rentals are $10.
The rink is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Weather permitting, the rink will remain open until March 15.
