What little girl hasn't grown up watching Dirty Dancing? Or got into trouble for gyrating and behaving "flitsy" like the girls in the movie? As the little girls turn into bigger girls, an entire Saturday afternoon can be wasted watching this timeless movie on TBS back to back to back.
Well girls all over Chicago are excited about the evolution of Dirty Dancing, the worldwide musical smash hit that's having its pre-Broadway U.S. premiere right here in our fair city.
The best way to celebrate the show is to go watch it, of course, but another fun event will be held Friday Oct. 24 at Flirty Girl Fitness.
The Flirty Girls are holding a special event in the show's honor, a Dirty Dancing Party.
All of the proceeds will go toward "Fight For a Future without Breast Cancer," and the activities include special tribute performances from the Flirty Girls, a chance to meet the cast members of the stage show, free dirty dancing lessons for you and your partner, a complimentary Baby Flirtini Bar from 9 - 10 p.m. and a DJ spinning Dirty Dancing classics and other favorites. There's also a raffle to win tickets to see the show in Chicago.
