It's Great To Be Jake

Clothing store launches store in-store concept

Just because the economy stinks, that doesn't mean your fashion has to as well.

On Friday, fashion-forward Gold Coast boutique Jake (939 N. Rush St.) will launch a new budget-friendly store-in-store promotion called "It's Great To Be Jake."

The in-store pop-up shop will offer a select assortment of chic and affordable fashions featuring noted emerging and established designers. It will also compliment your savvy sense of style by carrying apothecary items, books, vintage finds and fierce gifts!

Creative director Lance Lawson, and fashion director Jim Wetzel, will curate the assortment and insist that they will make shopping fun again, despite these difficult economic times.

All items are priced between $50 and $250, with an average price of $125.

Both the Rush Street and Winnetka locations are offering $20 gift cards when you spend $100 or more.
