A wise man once told us (our penny-pinching dad) -- "If it's free, take three." We might just apply that adage to the Crave Holiday Shopping Party next Tuesday night.

Here's a run-down of all the freebies you'll get at the Chicago Cultural Center event:
1. With the $20 entrance ticket, you get a year-long subscription to Time Out Chicago magazine.
2. Sip free Vitamin Water and Rain Vodka cocktails while you browse the boutiques and sample appetizers.
3. Beautify with complimentary manicures, facials and acupuncture from Allyu Spa. (We're first in line for that!)

And then there are the smaller perks -- like Dove chocolate,  a shopping tote and gift wrap -- all gratis.

But the real party revolves around the 40 local boutiques and designers selling everything from clothes to coffee, jewelery, housewares and handbags. Many of the vendors sell sustainable goods, adding a green twist to the event.

We'll be checking out new Chicago jewelery designer Ali Precious, as well as our old favorite, Hubba Hubba boutique, and locally roasted Metropolis Coffee for sure. But don't just visit what we like, click here for the full list of vendors.

If your list is longer than Santa's -- and you slept in on Black Friday -- we'll see you at the Cultural Center.
