Apple Inc. will be spreading the "i" gospel in the western 'burbs soon, after inking to deal to open one of its cutting-edge stores in downtown Naperville.

Crain's Chicago reports that the company has signed a lease in Main Place, at Main and Jefferson streets.

The deal follows another recent agreement to open an Apple store in the Clybourn Corridor shopping strip in Chicago.

Apple already has a flagship store at 679 N. Michigan Ave. and six other local stores.

Last month, the company announced plans to open 25 new stores worldwide.
