Stylish West Loop restaurant Sepia has joined forces with its new neighbor, designer-of-the-moment Maria Pinto, to come up with something called the "Pinto Box." Turns out Sepia's owner, Emmanuel Nony, is good friends with Pinto, who recently opened a boutique and design studio next door. We hear business is good, thanks to a certain First Lady-in-waiting.

The Pinto boxes, which are available Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., were custom-made for Sepia by Canadian artist Brent Rourke, a Shaker-style cabinet maker. The three-course menu (appetizer, entree and dessert) from Sepia chef Kendal Duque and pastry chef Cindy Schuman will change often and costs $18. A recent sampling included a marinated vegetable salad with ricotta crostini, a serrano ham, mint and apple sandwich, and a selection of cookies.

Rarely has lunch looked this good.
