Rock the Blanket With Sleeves for Halloween
Snuggies make a perfect last-minute costume

A tweet announcing a 2010 Snuggie Pub Crawl by the same group that successfully put one together last summer got us thinking that it could be the perfect inspiration a last-minute Halloween costume.
The "blanket with sleeves" kicks any mundane costume up several notches. Here's some of our favorite looks stolen from the Snuggie Pub Crawl 2009:
- Cougar Snuggie: Grab some animal print accessories to go with your Snuggie and you're good to go. Only suggested for women over the age of 35.
- Assless Chaps: This takes someone who's handy with a needle and thread to create, but if you're game, a Snuggie can easily be transformed into a pair of slacks. This one should go over especially well at Saturday's Northalsted Street Halloween Parade.
- Little Blue Dress: Ladies, cut the shoulders off, pair it with a contrasting belt, evening wear pumps and you're ready to rock the red carpet.
- Snuggie-wockeez: Hitch your Snuggie to the popularity of the Jabbawockeez dance crew. Grab yourself a mask and you're halfway there. Not suggested for those with no discernible rhythm because you will asked to dance on demand.
We could go on all day, but when you think about it, anything you pair with a Snuggie is probably going to be the hit of your Halloween party.
Not bad for less than 20 bucks at Walgreens. Bonus points if you can find a way to incorporate that free book light into your get-up.
