Everyone loves a good talent show, especially when the contestants really DO have talent, and especially when the audience members can win prizes, too.  The Finals of the Gays Got Talent competition sponsored by Windy City Media Group, the same folks who produce Windy City Gay Idol, are on Saturday, Jan. 10 at Sidetrack in Boystown. The doors open at 3 p.m., and the contest starts at 5 p.m.

Six preliminary rounds of local LGBT performers showcased singing, dancing, poetry, comedy, magic, puppetry, drag, juggling and other miscellaneous talents over the past few months, and now 16 finalists compete to win it all. Along with the coveted winning title, the grand prize winner, determined by a panel of judges, will walk away with $1000 cash, American Airlines tickets, a Toronto trip and Broadway in Chicago tickets.  All audience members will be entered to win Broadway in Chicago tickets and a trip for two to Toronto.  Cover is $5.
