MOVE OVER, PRIDE PARADE: One of the best costume parties in town, the North Halsted Halloween Parade kicks off around 6 p.m. on Halsted Street from Addison Street to Belmont Avenue. A special prize will be awarded to the costume that best represents this year’s theme, the “Mad Hatter’s Ball.” See the Lake View Citizens’ Council Web site for more details.

SOY BOMB: Bob Dylan concludes a three night stay at the Aragon Ballroom. Dylan may be pushing 70 and can be a hit-or-miss performer, but he can still rock out, as evident in this year’s “Together Through Life.” 1106 W. Lawrence Ave.; Uptown. 7:30 p.m. $52.50.

BEWARE THE FOG: Director and minimal electronic composer John Carpenter was God’s gift to horror movies, having been behind such classics as the remake of “The Thing” and, of course, “Halloween.” Delilah’s screens Carpenter’s “The Fog,” which carries one of the more ridiculous tag lines, “What you can’t see won’t hurt you … it’ll kill you!” 2771 N. HALLOWEEN PARTY ON WHEELS: The bicycling enthusiasts in Chainlink are organizing a bike tour of West Town that doubles as a bicycling Halloween party. Participants are encouraged to wear a helmet along with a costume. Begins at the intersection of Division Street and California Avenue; Humboldt Park. 10 a.m. Free.

BENEFIT SHOW: Last month, the members of Chicago-based Scotland Yard Gospel Choir were in a horrific van accident. Thankfully, everyone survived, but the ordeal left them with a hefty hospital bill and most of their equipment was destroyed, so a bunch of bands are throwing a benefit show at the Subterranean. Acts include BBU, New Duncan Imperials, Canasta, and Kevin Flynn And The Avondale Ramblers. 2011 W. North Ave.; Wicker Park. 8:30 p.m. $10. 17 and older.
