WHO YA GONNA CALL?: Movies In The Park may be over, but the Wicker Park Field House hosts an outdoor screening of “Ghostbusters II,” which is part of the Chicago Park District’s Haunted Drive-In Movie series. Don’t worry about ruining your Vigo the Carpathian costume if it rains; the series is moved indoors when the weather becomes disagreeable. 1425 N. Damen Ave.; Wicker Park. 6:30 p.m. $5.
FASHION FORWARD: This season of “Project Runway” sucks, but luckily there are plenty of fashion events going down that can easily take your mind off that train wreck. Fashion students from Columbia College, the School of the Art Institute Chicago, the International Academy of Art and Design, and the Illinois Institute of Art present their work in Dress Code, a showcase organized by Fashion Focus 2009. Millennium Park, 201 E. Randolph St.; Loop. 7:30 p.m. Free.
GOING TO LA LA LAND: Chicago-native Green Velvet headlines a DJ set at Smart Bar, spinning some of his house classics as well as a few new songs. Also on hand are DJ Nique, Brian Heath, and Nathan Zahn. 3730 N. Clark St.; Wrigleyville. 10 p.m. $15. 21 and older.
