Yay! You made it to Hump Day, which means tonight is basically the weekend (you can stumble through two more days of work, right?). Make it count with our roundup of the best bar nights in town.
Reality bites with "America's Next Top Model" and "Top Chef: New York" both on the tube tonight. Gather with other Tyramaniacs at Lakeview's Grand River for tonight's hotly anticipated "ANTM" finale (will it be hometown hottie McKey?). Ladies' night specials include $5 wraps and glasses of wine and $3 lemon drop shots. Models and tipsy girls -- guys, are you listening? 7-8PM, no cover.
Top Chef-ophiles have loads of viewing parties to choose from -- Cans Bar and Canteen in Bucktown cordons off its back room for airing of the previous and new episodes (8-10PM, no cover), plus offers $2 off cans of beer and $1 sliders. Lakeview's Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club serves up specialty cocktails and themed menu items for the culinary competition (9PM, no cover). And, at Between Boutique Cafe and Lounge, you'll be dining on one of the contestant's menu while dishing about the show. (Between's chef, Radhika Desai, is competing on "Top Chef" this season -- as if you didn't know.)
Wine is fine at Landmark's Wino Wednesdays, where you can score complimentary flatbread pizzas with the purchase of a bottle of wine (from 7-8PM), plus $5 Absolut cocktails all night for vodka lovers.
DJ sets from the likes of Bear Who?, Trilogy, NewLife, Julio Bishop and DVS make up Tini Martini Ultra Lounge's Tough Love Wednesdays, which could turn into tough love Thursday morning. 9PM-midnight, no cover.
