Angel's & Kings Blowout Party

Angels & Kings celebrates one year anniversary

In the competitive nightlife scene -- not to mention a crappy economy -- it's difficult for any bar and club to stay in the black during its first year of operation.

But we're not surprised that the Pete Wentz-owned celeb-o-plex, Angels & Kings (710 N Clark St), is thriving a year after opening.  Groupies and hangers-on are often rewarded with multiple appearances by the FOBs. And just recently, over Lollapalooza weekend, LiLo hung out, Samantha spun and GZA and Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan performed.

This Saturday, the first anniversary celebrations continue with the official Fall Out Boy, Blink 182 and Panic at the Disco after-show party (the bands will be performing at First Midwest Bank Amphitheater earlier in the evening) hosted by Wentz himself.

The Plain White T's, also regulars at the club, will provide the entertainment.

And the party won't stop until the break of dawn, thanks to AK's new 4 a.m. license.

There's no cover, but you'll want to get there early. If you've been to AK before, you know there's not a lot of elbow room in there.

Just be patient, because if you don't behave, you may ended up with a mug shot.
