A LEGEND IN HIS OWN TIME: Last night's gig was sold out, but you can still try to snag seats to John Legend's performance at the Chicago Theatre tonight. The silky-smooth soul man will be joined by Raphael Saadiq as an opener. Suddenly, the frigid temps just got a little warmer. 7:30PM, $46-$71.

SPACE ODDITY: If you find the holidays to be nothing if not surreal, check out "The David Bowie Hepzikat Velvet Flarney Solstice Spectacular... Live From Space! (David Bowie's Christmas Special 1977 Network Edit)," National Pastime Theater's take on a fictional holiday TV special starring Mick Jagger, Annie Lennox, Iggy Pop, Charo , the ghost of Freddie Mercury and, of course, the Thin White Duke himself. 10:30PM, $15.

STRIP TEASE: Burlesque is back, baby! "Lipshtick," produced by Michelle L'amour, a former Miss Exotic World, brings together local, national and international burlesque showgirls performing along with stand-up comedians in a vaudeville-style extravaganza. At the Sevens Cabaret at the Chicago Theater for the Performing Arts. 11PM, $15.
