TRIBAL WISDOM: Catch a matinee of "Anung's First American Christmas," the story of a Native American brave who is guided on his vision quest by wise spirits, at the Theatre Building of Chicago. The play combines live action with puppetry to weave a multicultural holiday tale that is getting rave reviews (Chicago Tribune theater critic Chris Jones named the production one of his top 10 best bets for the holidays). 2:30PM; $25, $20 seniors and students, and $12 for children under 12.

FAMILY NIGHT: Haven't had enough of the fam this holiday weekend (what are you, some kind of saint)? Room 21 hosts a night of comfort food menu items and classic silent films in its "Sunday Suppers and Silent Movies" series. Sundays are also "no corkage fee" nights, so bring a bottle (or two). 4-9PM; $21, $9 for kids under 12.

GOTTA GET BACK: Remember singer Shelby Lynne? The winner of the "Best New Artist" award at the 2000 Grammys? Well, the talented performer is back with a new album, "Just a Little Lovin'," inspired by the Dusty Springfield songbook. See her in an intimate setting (perfect for that sultry voice) at Fitzgerald's in Berwyn. 7PM, $25.
