OPRAH'S HOPE: Meet fitness expert (and the Big O's trainer) Bob Greene, who will be at the Loop Borders this afternoon signing copies of his new book, "The Best Life Diet Cookbook." (We can only assume he's swinging by Harpo Studios afterwards.) 12:30PM, free.

SELL OUTS: Ska-punk pranksters Reel Big Fish bring their high-energy live set to the House of Blues tonight. The Fish are supporting "Fame, Fortune and Fornication," their new album of covers (including Poison's "Talk Dirty to Me" and John Mellencamp's "Authority Song" -- believe it). 6PM, $20.50.

NEW BLOOD: See three one-act plays written by local high school students during the 23rd annual Young Playwrights Festival presented by the Pegasus Players. Each of the performances have been selected from more than 600 submissions. At Truman College's O'Rourke Center in Uptown, 7:30PM, $12.
